Oh, 2020.... who could have seen this coming?
March 13th was the fastest pivot we have ever made in our lives. But, here we are. In Zoom. A lot. We are no strangers to long-distance collaboration. And now, we have discovered new tools and possibilities. And while we continue to hold out hope for the day we can work together, play together, make music and dances together, ALL IN THE SAME ROOM, we are continuing our connection. We are continuing our thoughtful, creative work on Fisherman. We are learning new ways to go deep and to ride the wave..... ❤︎ jp & kv

When working on a project, I hardly ever get to see choreography from the front. From the piano bench, I usually get the back or side view. I see something like this... or this... or this... Part of rehearsal is getting to take the time to figure something out. For clarity. Or to add layers of meaning. Which is why rehearsal time flies by,
leaving us ready for more. ❤︎ (from the bench) KV Turns out, I'm a pretty terrible rehearsal photographer....
but I managed to get a few presentable images from yesterday's rehearsal with the Mermaid (Robin), the Fisherman (Sean), and JP to share with you! I'll keep practicing this taking pictures thing... :) Will try again tomorrow at our rehearsal with the Fisherman (Sean) and the Soul (Mira)! ❤︎ KV
